Starcraft

When playing a custom or multiplayer game you can add computers to play with or against. Well I'm sure that you StarCraft gamers already know that there isn't any 'difficulty' or 'handicap' option that you can set for the computer. It's either you have a computer or you don't. No 'easy' computer no 'hard' computer. Is there some sort of mod out there that adds an option like that for the computers in the game?I'm asking because the computer(s) in this game are rediculously hard when you have the gametype set to either melee or free for all, and I for one, am not the best at this game, but i still find it loads of fun, i just want to find a way to reduce the computer difficulty level. Please let me know what y'all can find.Thank you.

No, it's a custom map called 8Big Game Hunters. The reason why it makes the game a bit easier (especially if you only play with 1 other CPU) is because you don't have to worry about running out of resources. You are surrounded by about 9-10 crystal deposits with 99999 RUs, and (I think) 3 vespene geysers that have 50000 units of gas in them.As you've noticed, there is no difficulty slider for Starcraft. And, as far as I'm aware, there is no mod to dumb down the AI. About all I can suggest is that you try out BGH until you get a better feel for how the AI operates and how best you can defend against their attacks. After you've gotten comfortable with the AI tactics, you can try out the other maps with some level of confidence.

It's just overwhelming at first because it's hard to deal with the AI when you first play it.
